Hello, I am MV Russell. I wrote my first short novel when I was in 6th grade. It was a sad romance and I bound the book in purple and blue brocade tapestry with pictures of the 2 main characters and photos of the location of the story. I adored reading even then and found books in my home that took me away to places that I still have not been, but have been able to travel in my mind. I love words and am committed to the written word and how it can transport readers and writers and change lives. I have a full-time job and an active family, and I still enjoy reading and writing.
