They say don’t let bad circumstances or a trauma define you ..... but I believe the opposite. At the age of 24, I lost my father in a motorcycle accident, then six days later lost my mother to suicide. I, myself, was in nursing school and that series of events could have absolutely shattered my life but instead, became the pivotal point where I matured immediately and deepened my relationship with Jesus Christ, and also gained immense compassion for others going through true suffering. I’m a wife, nurse, and mother of two. I live in rural Ohio, and enjoy teaching fitness classes and learning about wellness and alternative medicine, and writing.
